Ages 5–16
Group & Social Skills
Team-based recreational classes building friendships and communication skills alongside physical training — for kids who thrive on group energy.
What To Expect
Gymnastics skills, woven through group play
Sessions lean into partner drills, relay and trust games, and group routines — the same gymnastics fundamentals as our other kids classes, but built around shared challenges rather than individual progression. Listening, taking turns, and giving peer feedback are treated as skills worth coaching, just like a cartwheel.
Many classes work toward a small group showcase or mini performance — a low-pressure way for kids to build confidence in front of others, alongside the friendships that come from training together week after week.
- Partner drills and team-based challenges
- Structured, low-pressure social practice
- Gymnastics fundamentals woven throughout
- Occasional group showcases and demos
Why It Matters
What group training builds
Communication
Partner and group drills give kids real practice listening and expressing themselves clearly.
Teamwork
Shared challenges teach collaboration in a way solo skill-building can't.
Confidence
Group showcases build comfort performing in front of others, one small step at a time.
Leadership
Rotating roles within group activities gives every child a turn leading, not just following.
FAQ
Group & social skills questions
Yes — it's often a great fit. Partner drills and small-group challenges give shy kids low-pressure, structured ways to interact, rather than open-ended social situations.
Kids Gymnastics is skill-progression focused; this programme weights team activities, partner work and group challenges more heavily, with gymnastics skills woven through them.
We'll do our best to place friends in the same batch where ages and levels align — mention it when you book your trial class.
